Inverted Paradiddle Etude 1
Here is my attempt at inverted paradiddles. I am not sure some of this makes sense to me.

What is the way to work through RRTE videos?
Should I be working through one video at a time or should I jump around the videos to do the exercises in order?
As an example 1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 are spread across three videos.
Thanks :)
It is up to you but it might make more sense to just work through all of them in order. With most of my students at the university I have to work backwards to pick up the things they skipped or fix the bad habits they have. They don't always like it because they think working on fundamentals is above them but if they don't they hit a wall and it's difficult to advance from there. Besides, its certainly can't hurt you.
I am trying to understand more about how we finished up the lesson yesterday. I wrote out the first 12 measures on ETUDE 1 with the sixteenth notes. Then I used a sharpie to highlight the melody. I then added the sticking up top. So I sort get what we are doing here but I have a few questions:
1- what is the terminology for what we are doing? what is this called?
2. I mapped out some sticking. Is this correct so far?
3 . what do I do ( sticking) in measure 5?

I think that is all for now.
Hi John, So I am looking for the Etudes from yesterday? Also, Last week you mentioned your Bimbe when we were working on Etude 6. I can't seem to find that either. Can you help??
thanks
Never mind about the printing problem. Apparently my printer needs some maintenance. I got it working. ugh!

You got it. Next step is to speed it up and/or play on two different surfaces and add some bass drum. Keep working on keeping all the taps low and consistent.
