Several airlines operate direct flights from the US to Puerto Rico - JetBlue, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta.

Getting to Culebra from the main island of Puerto Rico involves two main options: flying or taking a ferry.

Option 1: Fly (Fastest & Most Reliable)

  • From where: San Juan (SJU or Isla Grande/SIG) to Benjamin Rivera Noriega Airport (CPX) in Culebra.

  • Airlines: Cape Air or Vieques Air Link.

  • Duration: About 20-30 minutes.

  • Cost: Around $90 - $100 each way.

 

Option 2: Ferry (Budget-Friendly)

  • From where: Ceiba Ferry Terminal (about a 1.5-hour drive from San Juan).

  • Duration: 45-60 minutes.

  • Cost: $2.25 per adult each way.

  • How to get there: Take a taxi or Uber (approx. $60 - $75) from San Juan to the Ceiba terminal.

  • Booking: Book your tickets well in advance on the Puerto Rico Ferry site, as spots sell out quickly.
