Welcome to Culebra, Puerto Rico's best-kept secret. Known as "Isla Chiquita," this tiny, uncommercialized island is 10 square miles of pure paradise. Forget the heavy tourist crowds—here, it’s all about relaxed vibes, legendary snorkeling among healthy coral reefs, and sharing the turquoise water with sea turtles. Home to the world-famous Flamenco Beach, it’s the perfect, pristine backdrop for an unforgettable getaway.

Get ready for the ultimate rhythm getaway! The Destination Percussion Camp offers a total immersion into global percussion, giving you hands-on experience with steel pans, drum set, and latin percussion.
Choose your preferred instrument or learn all!
We will gather the evening you arrive at the Fundación de Culebra (housed in the former school building) to introduce the faculty, meet your fellow campers, and get oriented. Tuesday morning kicks off four action-packed days of masterclasses and rehearsals. Every evening, we will gather for a fun jam session where you can play with the pros and practice your new skills.
Of course, it’s not all work—you will have plenty of downtime for beach excursions and hiking around the island.
It all leads up to a final concert that is going to be a total blast. We are honored to share the stage with the brilliant young musicians from the local Música Pá Culebra program, a fantastic youth music initiative created by Luz Rivera-Cantwell and directed by José Fabian Rosa Santos. Jamming with these kids, the guest artists, and your fellow campers on the final night will be an experience of a lifetime.
