Mitchell Peters Solo No. 1
Hi Everyone!
I've been working on some tech stuff this summer, mainly videos and how to replace basic audio with audio recorded in Logic Pro. So here is my first attempt to sync video with sound. I used Mitchell Peters Solo No. 1 from his Intermediate Snare Drum Studies. As easy as I thought it would be it took many takes and I still don't think it's perfect. I landed up playing to soft on the last two measures of line 5 so I put a crescendo in. Didn't sound to bad, but just wasn't correct. Hey, the main goal was to sync the video with the audio. Great video Larry. You accomplished your goal not only in combining the logic pro sound connection with the video but also a nice solo étude! Well done.
I still have my original Gretsch 4160 Chrome‑Over‑Brass (COB) 14″ × 5″ 8‑lug snare, produced in 1969. It has the lightning throw off and 42 inch Power snare strands. It’s a great drum which sounds excellent for concert and Orchestral work.
