Hello all. SO I am working on Etude 6. I have been able to play the entire piece with hands. I can play the 6/8 part with 2 over 3 on the hat and kick - like John demonstrated. However when I come to the 4/4 section the wheels come off trying to keep the same ostinato. John - continuing the same ostinato as the 6/8 portion does not work and when I slow it down in 4/4 it does not sound right either. I can play the kick throughout the entire piece so I guess its just the hat in the 4/4 measures that give me trouble. Any tips or am I not suppose to play the same ostinato under the 4/4?
